Tasmania Roadtrip Week 6 - Tasman Is Seals

The greatest threat to these Fur Seals are not sharks but humans with the biggest problem being the amount of marine debris. Seals have an inquisitive nature so rubbish like rope, fishing line and bits of plastic seem interesting. Unfortunately they can become entangled in them and not be able to feed properly resulting in a slow death. Luckily this colony seems very healthy and happy.
